Bought the 46" G10 plasma a couple of weeks ago bundled with the free blu ray player. Price was great and delivery was prompt. The picture is fantastic. Colors are deep and realistic. The only setting adjustments I made were to increase contrast on standard setting from 50 to 65 and decrease tint to -5. Otherwise, looked great right everything worked fine right out of the box. Hooked up to my audio receiver for surround sound. Bought the SquareTrade 3 yr warranty for $99 just because the price was low and..who knows? This model was getting good reviews and I can see why. I'm completely satisfied with the purchase. I can understand those that are dissatisfied because of an immediate hardware failure. I think that can happen with any brand. After all, these are man made devices. I can't imagine getting a better picture than this.

Lots of long reviews on this TV, but the simple fact is that it is hands down the best deal around for picture quality. Don't be swayed by any "greenish tint" comments on the THX mode... it is fantastic right out of the box, and I only messed with a few user picture settings to dial in the BEST picture I have ever had. The best part of this TV is the complete lack of any motion blurr with fast action sports and movies, plasma is the superior technology for this! HD content on this TV is just amazing, so get a good Blu Ray player too!!!!

Thanks to Amazon for delivering this high quality TV! If you are looking for a new HDTV, this should be at the top of your list. The picture quality is amazing, and isn't that why you buy an HDTV? I was sure I was going to buy an LCD, because of the (FALSE) horror stories about picture burn in with Plasma. If it ever was a problem, it is no more...the picture quality of plasmas is superior to LCDs (yes, even the new LED LCDs, nice as they are), they are great for gaming and even the power consumption is only slightly greater than LCD. Don't be afraid to buy plasma, it truly is a great picture. Panasonics are hailed as the best of the plasmas...you won't regret buying this TV. Amazon contracts with some good shippers who will bring it into your house for you and make sure it turns on and is undamaged. The TV has some great features, particularly for me is VieraCast...I moved my router and cable modem in next to the TV and hooked it up...now I watch HD movies downloaded from Amazon Video on Demand in seconds! I did weeks of ressearch on HDTV and time and again, came back to this television. You will be happy with this purchase.

Great picture (although comcast cable does not do this TV justice...way too much compression which leads to pixelation and a blurry effect during fast moving sequences. I would avoid comcast cable whenever possible!). The image is not greatly affected by dark or light rooms and seems to look equally as sharp. Interface and setup were easy and very accessible. I don't use the speakers built into the TV so I can't really speak to the audio, but I'm guessing it's sufficient.
Overall this is a great TV for the price...Sleek and nice to look at!

I'll keep it short, I love my G10. This is my third HDTV, and second Panasonic Plasma. The picture quality compared to my 5 year old Panasonic Plasma is like going from a B&W TV to a colored TV. I did not really expect such a huge improvement in just five years. I don't want to fuel the Plasma vs LCD debate, but compared to similarly priced LCDs, this TV blows them out of the water. Once you own a plasma, you will understand.
The only downside to this TV would be it really shows how good or bad the programming is. I find myself regularly complaining about the picture quality of different networks. Example would be football this last weekend, NBC's PQ is much better than Fox. Must be the 1080i vs 720p but the TV is so good, you will notice.
Delivery was easy, no problems at all. Showed up on time, called ahead to schedule even though I did it online, checked the TV after unboxing. Overall a good experience.
I have been wanting this TV since last year's 800 model and I am so glad I finally bought it!
